Peanut Gallery traditionally means people whose criticisms are regarded as irrelevant or insignificant. Resembling the uneducated people who used throw peanuts on the stage to express displeasure with a performance. It also means rearmost or uppermost area in the balcony containing the least expensive seats. The words remind me of the Muppet Show--those two old men who sat in the balcony making rude comments. The people in my peanut gallery aren't Muppets, and they don't make rude comments. . . Okay, well they sometimes do, and they might make more after they realize what I've said here, but it's my website. I can do what I want to.
